sometimes i am just overwhelmed at the incredible talent that people have. yes, i love stuff, but every now and then (or every day) i come across another breathtaking piece of art, in any given form, that makes me feel so happy. i love to create, and doodle, craft, sew (not very well), draw and lots of other things, and how amazing is it that there is a whole world of people out there that love to do just those same things? very. the following is just a blip on my favorites radar.

hello pomlovers. it's a rainy, cloudy, chilly day here in oregon and i am sitting here with my coffee (my friend) trying to decide what to do first.

my creative instinct is telling me: pull out some of those new papers and get crackin' on all of those designs you've been wanting to put together.

my domestic instinct is telling me: start cleaning up this mess! it looks like the morning after mardi gras in here!

my responsible instinct is telling me: be a machine and get those orders out, pronto!

now, usually i would listen to my domestic instinct (i know, big surprise, right?) just because, well, for some reason i turn into a clean freak on the weekends, i guess that's the price of domesticity. blah. but i just don't want to.

i want to make stuff. it's an obsessive trait that runs deep within the women of my family, and unfortunately resistance to it is completely futile.

here's to glueing, cutting, folding, sprinkling, and all the other good stuff.
